The book I'm working on (DSC_1893)

Datin Nona, the creator of "Senyum Sokmo: Colourful Encounters in Terengganu" was interviewing Alex Lee Yun Ping from Ping Anchorage (Terrapuri, a project by Alex Lee). He said, "A big obstacle to heritage conservation is the local mindset that looks up to all things foreign while scoffing at what’s ours. Old wooden houses, for instance, are seen as a symbol of backwardness and poverty, not as possible antiques."
